Department of Agriculture invites written submissions on the Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020 Consultation Paper

The Department has prepared a draft consultation paper on the outline of proposed measures for inclusion in the Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020.   The consultation paper is available on the Department’s website www.agriculture.gov.ie

The RDP will be co-funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.   The proposed measures outlined include support for an Agri-Environment and Climate Change Measure, Areas of Natural Constraints (formerly Less Favoured Areas), on-farm capital investment measures, and LEADER amongst others.

The Department is seeking written submissions in relation to the draft consultation paper from interested parties.

Deadline for receipt of submissions is 19 February .
