Carey congratulates party and constituency colleague Pat Breen on his appointment as Minister

Fine Gael TD for Clare, Joe Carey, has congratulated his party and constituency colleague, Deputy Pat Breen on his appointment as Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, with responsibility for Employment and Small Business.

“I was delighted to learn of Pat’s appointment as Minister of State.

“Pat is a long serving and hardworking TD and thoroughly deserved his promotion.

“Pat and I, together with the Fine Gael organisation in County Clare have returned two Fine Gael seats in Clare for the past three elections and I’ve no doubt that this was a key factor in the Taoiseach’s decision.

“As ever, I look forward to working closely with Pat in the best interests of the people of County Clare and wish him all the best in his new role”.
