Butler welcomes new classrooms for Scoil Mhuire
10th March 2014 - Sarah Meade
Fine Gael Meath West TD, Ray Butler, has today (Monday) welcomed an announcement from the Department of Education that three new classrooms and a new technology room are to be built at Scoil Mhuire in Trim.
“This announcement will come as very welcome news to students, staff, parents and all those involved at Scoil Mhuire, which has been providing secondary education in Trim for more than 75 years.
“The Department of Education has approved the building of three new classrooms, plus a technology room, which will help to cater for the school’s growing population.
“Despite on-going financial constraints, the Government has prioritised investment in schools. These additional classrooms at Scoil Mhuire will significantly expand the school’s capacity.
“I hope these works can be carried out without delay, for the benefit of students and teachers alike.”
