Another award for Lucan as Adamstown Station named Best Commuter Station – Keating
3rd June 2013 - Deborah Sweeney
Fine Gael Dublin Mid West Deputy, Derek Keating, has praised the staff at Adamstown Station after it was given the Best Commuter Station Award by the Minister for Transport, Leo Varadkar TD, today (Thursday) at a ceremony at the Inchicore Works.
“The staff at Adamstown Station work very hard to ensure that customers receive the highest level of service I want to congratulate the staff at Adamstown Station for their success in receiving this prestigious award.
“Public transport remains an attractive and competitive option for passengers in Dublin Mid West, particularly since the N4 Lucan By-Pass works continue to be a challenge during peak times, morning and evening. The residents of Lucan, who use the commuter service, are an important part of Irish Rail’s business. I want to congratulate all concerned in bringing this award to Lucan.”
