Wind energy trading with UK offers job and revenue growth

Fine Gael Sligo Leitrim Senator and Seanad spokesperson on Agriculture Michael Comiskey today (Thursday) welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Ireland and the UK creating the potential to export green energy from Ireland to the UK. Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte TD met with his UK counterpart Edward Dave, Secretary for Energy and Climate Change to sign a commitment to work closely in harnessing the economic benefits from trading in renewable energy.
