Coffey welcomes Young Fine Gael to Waterford
5th November 2013 - Emma Hynes
Fine Gael Waterford Deputy, Paudie Coffey, has today (Friday) said that he is looking forward to members of Young Fine Gael visiting Waterford City next weekend. Some 500 delegates will attend the Young Fine Gael National Conference in the Tower Hotel in Waterford City on the weekend of 22nd November.
“Young Fine Gael members from across the country will visit Waterford next weekend to attend the Young Fine Gael National Conference, where they will elect their new executive and debate motions on a series of issues affecting the youth branch of Fine Gael. I wish all those in contention for positions on the new executive the very best of luck.
“There will be international guests attending the conference and all delegates will be encouraged to visit the sites around the Viking Triangle. The Young Fine Gael conference comes a week before the opening of the Winterval festival, an exciting Christmas festival packed with seasonal events and activities set in heritage sites around Ireland’s oldest city.
“Members of Young Fine Gael are looking forward to coming to Waterford to attend their National Conference and I wish them a successful conference. I am sure they will enjoy their stay and hopefully they will be back down to the sunny South East in the near future.”
