Mitchell launches €3m investment and 60 news jobs at Alarm Control 24
2nd July 2012 - Olivia Mitchell TD
Officially opening Alarm Control 24’s new monitoring station today in
Sandyford, Fine Gael TD for Dublin South, Olivia Mitchell TD, stressed the
importance of indigenous firms to Ireland’s economic recovery.
“I am delighted to officially open this monitoring station in Sandyford
and am very proud that a local, indigenous company is creating 60 new jobs
and investing €3 million in their long range radio telemetry alarm
monitoring system.
“Although now a relatively large company, Alarm Control 24 started small
as Action Security in Dundrum. Through dogged commitment and risk taking,
today it is an expanding firm announcing a swathe of jobs in this really
impressive building.
“If this country is to recover it needs thousands more indigenous jobs
such as those being announced today. These jobs are the real backbone of
the economy, and while the multinationals are of vital importance to us,
we must now also concentrate on building our own success stories.”
