29th April 2013 - Brid Murphy
Fine Gael TD for Laois / Offaly, Charlie Flanagan, has today (Monday) paid tribute to former Fine Gael Minister of State, Dick Barry, who passed away yesterday evening at the age of 93.
“I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family of Dick Barry. Dick was an excellent politician who spent his life in public service. He was a loyal man who served his constituents well.
“He left behind him a legacy of hard work and dedication to any task he took his hand to, whether it was in the Dáíl or in his successful estate agency, Dick made sure he put in 100 per cent into any task he took on. He will be missed by all who knew him.”
