To ask the Minister for Health the extent to which he continues to monitor the number of patients awaiting various elective procedures at all public and private hospitals throughout the country; the extent to which the throughput of patients will be compared with a view to ensuring a more rapid and effective process; the extent to which he has identified the various obstacles to achieving this objective; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
