To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of housing units offered to local authority housing applicants in County Kildare in the past six months; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information requested is not available in my Department . Under Section 22 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 , all local authorities are required to make a housing allocation scheme, the making of which is a reserved function of the elected members of the local authority concerned, in th is case Kildare County Council.
