Congratulations to Graduates From Scoil Mhuire, Clane
24th November 2011 - Senator Anthony Lawlor
Kildare North TD, Anthony Lawlor, was delighted to attend the graduation ceremony in the Westgrove Hotel last night (Wednesday) of students from FETAC and NUI accreditation courses from Scoil Mhuire, Clane.
“I was invited to be the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony because of my role both as a Dáil Deputy and a member of the Oireachtas Committee for Jobs, Social Protection and Education. I was amazed at the array of courses from which students were graduating and also the number of subjects available in Scoil Mhuire and indeed at other VEC Schools. The fact that some of these courses are linked with NUI Maynooth, further enhances Scoil Mhuire as an educational facility. I would like to extend my congratulations and thanks to Scoil Mhuire and its staff for the massive contribution they are making to the community by offering such a range of highly qualified courses which can benefit all sectors of society.
“The commitment shown by last night’s graduates provided me with hope and confidence that through determination and strength, such as they have displayed , we will be successful once again as a nation and as a community. Scoil Mhuire is now taking enrolments for Spring 2012 and I encourage people to participate in same” concluded Anthony Lawlor TD.
