500 new jobs for Clare based company – Breen

18th January 2016 - Pat Breen TD

Fine Gael TD for Clare and Chairman of the Oireachtas Foreign Affairs Committee, Pat Breen, has said that the announcement of 500 new jobs by healthcare recruitment company TTM, is very good news for Clare.

“Clare based healthcare recruitment company TTM has announced the creation of 500 new jobs over the next five years. This is extremely good news for the people of Co. Clare.

“TTM recruit specialist healthcare professionals in both Ireland and the UK and it is understood that the majority of the 500 new roles will be based in the firm’s headquarters in Ennis.

“TTM currently employs 1,200 people and has a turnover of over €50 million. The healthcare firm is looking to triple its revenues and double its workforce over the next five years.

“Rapid growth has taken place for TTM in recent years and the company now has confidence to invest even more in their future in Co. Clare.

“An investment of this level is a massive vote of confidence in the workforce of the region, as well as the facilities available.

“TTM’s announcement brings vital jobs to the Clare region and I am hopeful that more jobs can be created in this area in the coming years.

“Fine Gael has a long term plan to keep the recovery going. We are seeing economic progress, with over 135,000 new jobs created since 2012, but we cannot take for granted that stability and recovery will continue.

“Our plan will deliver new and better jobs, spread right across the country; jobs that pay more than welfare and where hard work is rewarded. More people in work creates the resources to cut taxes for working people and invest in better services, improving living standards for all.”
