11 SCHOOLS IN KILDARE NORTH GET FUNDING FOR SCHOOL BUILDING PROGRAMME

Anthony Lawlor, TD for Kildare North today, Tuesday, November 17, welcomed the announcement that 11 schools in Kildare North are to receive significant funding under a multi-million euro school building programme.
Anthony said “today the Government is unveiling a major school building programme, which involves funding for over 310 individual school building projects across the country and I am delighted that 7 primary and 4 post primary schools in Kildare North will benefit from this funding.
The schools in Kildare North receiving funding are as follows:
· St. Mary’s Girls post primary school, Naas
· St. Conleth’s Infant School
· St. Joseph’s BNS, Kilcock
· Naas Community College
· St. Patrick’s BNS, Clane
· Maynooth NS
· St. Corban’s NS
· St Raphael’s Special School
· Maynooth ETNS
· St. Farnan’s Post Primary, Prosperous
· Hewetson NS
“Within my constituency, I am delighted that funding has been secured for a variety of schools in a wide range of areas and we are providing vital places for our young to further their education. This significant investment will also support direct and indirect jobs in this area. The school building programme will proceed to construction between 2016 and 2021” Anthony said.
